At the end of August, we went camping at Strawberry Reservoir with Dave's friend from work, Jonathan, and his family. We had a fabulous time.
Maddi- so excited to be here.

Our camping spot had a gorgeous view of the lake.

Everyone wanted turns to hold the baby.
Maddi and Laney found the perfect place to play. A couple of funny things:
Maddi wouldn't wear her shoes. She kept calling Laney "sister," I guess because of the game they were playing.
On Saturday we went fishing.
Jonathan set some crawdad traps.
When we got back from fishing, it started pouring.
We all got wet. The tent got soaked, but after the rain stopped,
it dried out pretty quick.

Dave was in charge of making breakfast (and all the fires).
This is where we set the traps.

We left Saturday evening, before dinner. We stopped in Heber and got Arby's and then drove home in our old blue truck.
As soon as we got home, I was ready to go back. I didn't want to unpack, I just wanted to go again the next weekend. It was so fun to just be outside in nature. Since we went the Friday of the first week of school, Dave was in charge of planning the whole thing and all of the packing, so that was another reason why I enjoyed myself so much. It was wonderful!
