Summer Fun- June

In June, we had our first week of swimming lessons. This was Maddi's first time, and she was SOO excited. Way back when she was potty training, we told her she couldn't go to swimming lessons unless she could go potty on the toilet all the time. I don't know how much it motivated her, but it think it did a little because ever since she can remember, she has had to just watch Kimee and Audrey during their lessons.

Maddi is on the end- on the left. She was by far the youngest in her class, but she kept up really well.

Kimee's class really practiced dives this year. Here she is going off the diving board. She and Stephanie were in the same class again. They had a REALLY good teacher this time that is on the BYU swim team.

Audrey is on the far right, with her hand raised, and cousin Sarah is right next to her. It was fun that they got to be in the same class.

We tried so hard to get Maddi to jump off the board- with no luck! 

She said she wasn't big enough. Maybe next year.

Kimee and Audrey started taking horse lessons at Schow's Ranchette this summer. They LOVE it!

Maddi got to be in a music class at Miss Janna's house this summer. Her friend Charlie was in it too.

Summer Fun- July

The fun never ends, all summer long!

We got a zoo pass this summer, so we can go whenever we get the chance. This time we took Isabelle and Lexi from our ward, and met up with the Foxes while we were there.

Lots of fun at the 4th of July parade. We get to hang out with cousins and friends galore! And afterwards we get to cool off and eat at Brick Oven. Yum!

We had some slow days in July, but since we put up the water slide, the kids didn't mind. They just played the whole time, and those who came stayed pretty much the whole time!

We did another week of swimming lessons in July. Maddi and Audrey both showed a lot of improvement. Kimee is already a really good swimmer.

Kimberly and Audrey's Birthday

We had such a fun couple of days for Kimee and Audrey's birthday. These two are such good sports- they love sharing their birthday!

Grandma and Grandpa took them out to eat for their birthday.

 They can't wait to spend the money she gave them.

On the day before their birthday, Friday July 20th, we did our latest tradition of going to get their hair done. Audrey got a trim and an updo and Kimee got a trim and highlights.

On Friday night, we had a Hello Kitty Late Night with friends from the neighborhood. It was so much fun!

We wore Hello Kitty PJ's, played games, ate pizza, watched a couple of Hello Kitty episodes, did nails with Hello Kitty decals, and just acted like crazy cute girls having a late night. It was a blast.

On Saturday morning, they had a special breakfast and got to open their present from mom and dad. They got a cute matching outfit and some money to spend.

 Then, they got a long play date with their favorite cousin, Sarah.

That night we hada special dinner and they each got to decorate their own cake. They loved it!

With the money they were given as gifts, (and Kimee had some saved up), Audrey got a rainbow bunny Build-a-Bear plus full outfit and a pair of roller skates, and Kimee bought a used generation 4 iPod (she has been wanting for a LONG time).
