Fall Break

For Fall Break we headed up to Bear Lake on Thursday, October 11. On the way, we stopped at Scheel's for the 1st time since the huge store opened in Utah. Since G&G live close by, they met us there.

We had to wait in line for quite a while to ride the ferris wheel. Maddi didn't want to go, and she wasn't feeling good, so I took her out to the car.

After Scheel's we went to Costco for lunch and got some groceries for our trip. Then we headed up to Bear Lake. What a beautiful view from our condo.

It was so fun to have the Smiths up there with us. We had lots of fun swimming in the big pool.

 Maddi was always crazy and silly and wouldn't stand still for her picture to be taken.

It was a little chilly, but we had to take a walk down to the marina.

The girls have been really getting into jumping rope. So we had a little jump rope contest. 

It was so much fun!

Saturday night, Skyler and Hadley came up for dinner. Hadley brought her roommate and Megan, Easton's girlfriend. Our kids gave them a major workout (I felt bad). They absolutely LOVED Megan.

While we were at church in the Bear Lake ward, Kimee wrote this letter to Elder Smith. It was pretty cute and funny so we took a picture of it.

It was quite an eventful day at church. There were several people sitting in the back with us in jeans, which I thought was great, that they still came to church even though they forgot their church clothes. At one point a huge wasp/bee flew into the back where we were sitting. It started causing quite a stir.  Some people started swatting at it, one couple got up and left. Finally, someone kinda swatted it, and it fell down on the floor. I stood up, moved the chair, and squished it with my foot. Whew! There was quite a commotion. It made me laugh to think what it looked like from the stand:)

After church, we headed for home. The drive was absolutely gorgeous!!
