December Fun

I had the idea to go to the grand opening of the outlets on Traverse Mountain. I was so excited for some outlet stores closer than Park City. So on Nov. 16, we met up with our good friends the Foxes and Sinemas at JCW's for dinner and then headed to the outlets. I guess everyone else in the world had the same idea, so it was packed. But it was still fun- a great date and a great memory.

On the day after Thanksgiving, we have had the tradition to go see Santa in the helicopter. This year we just didn't feel like getting going that early, so we skipped the helicopter, but we still went to the mall to pick out our Christmas ornament. The line for Santa was short, we decided to stop in, but we didn't get any official pictures this time.

On Dec. 12, we had our ward Christmas party. They haven't done this before, at least not since we've been here, but this year they decided to have Santa visit at the very end.

Audrey had her choir concert on Dec. 13. Not many people signed up for the school choir this year, so it was a small group. Audrey did great and they sang a lot of really cute songs.

I started a tradition several years ago to make Moose Crunch for our neighbor gifts. It takes me Friday night and most of Saturday, doing 3-4 huge batches. Dad and the girls do most of the delivering.
It is pretty fun and oh so yummy!
