Kimee discovered she had a loose tooth a few weeks ago. She was eating an apple and said that her tooth hurt. To my surprise, she had her first loose tooth. I guess I just wasn't expecting this yet. Wow. Doesn't this mean she is really growing up? On Jan. 14, it was really, really loose, but she didn't want anyone to touch it or try to pull it out. On Jan. 15, while I was putting Audrey down for her nap, Kimee was eating a Fruit by the Foot. She noticed something really crunchy, but she didn't want to spit it out on the floor, so she just swallowed it. Moments later, she realized that her tooth was gone, and that was what the crunchy thing was. Then she came and told me the news. Coincidentally, she had a dentist appointment that afternoon. Then she was so excited to see what the tooth fairy brought. She actually checked under her pillow for several more days just to see if the tooth fairy came again and brought more surprises. How much fun is this? I can't wait for more teeth to come out and more tooth fairy visits. Being a mom is so much fun!

I am glad that your family has a "cool" tooth fairy. The one we got is sometimes a flake. We have to give her a couple nights sometimes.
