The same day we were putting together the bunk beds, we had a huge scare. Dave and I were busy working in the girls room, Kimee was at school, and Audrey was just off playing by herself. After a while of quiet, I thought I'd better go check on Audrey. I found her in the kitchen with a really sharp, medium sized knife. In the split second of seeing her with the knife, I was so scared and imagined all the cuts she would have on her hand. Luckily she didn't have one cut. She was trying to cut a bagel for herself. The picture doesn't really show how badly mauled this bagel was, but it does show that she had been at it for a while. Scarey! That haunted me for days thinking about what could have happened.
