Kimee has really gotten into reading. She recently finished reading her first two chapter books. I am not going to keep track of every book she reads, but these books were somewhat sentimental. The Star is Born is a book I had gotten from the book order several years ago. Kimee discovered it and really wanted it, this was when she was probably two. I'm sure she wanted it so bad just because I told her no several times. Finally I said yes, thinking she would forget about it. After all, having a chapter book wasn't going to hurt her. She carried that book around and pretended to read it for so long. It was her favorite book, even though it had no pictures except the front cover. She would ask me the characters names, etc. Well, she finally read the book. She was so happy that she could read it.
how exciting. that's adorable that she has carried it around for so long!
