Actually, not bad for a first time self haircut by an almost 6 year old. And after looking at the pictures from camping, she really needed a haircut.
Mom: "Why did you cut your hair?"
Kimee: "It was buggin' me."
Mom: "It makes me really sad that you cut your hair."
Kimee: "It will grow back."
Mom: "Not for a long time."
We went to Wendy to the rescue. She cut Kimee's hair into a really cute short haircut. It is great because it is too short for tangles, but also too short for a ponytail. I didn't take pictures right after (I was still a little sad), so you will have to see the haircut in other posts.
oh no! seriously, why does every kid have to cut their own hair at some point? I did it too. I cut my bangs super short when I was around 4. (But I agree that she did a pretty good job for a 6 year old!)
