Kimee had the great idea to make a Countdown to Maddilyn. She wrote all the numbers, up to 52, by herself and put them on this poster. She did a great job. Each day, she is taking off one number until the day Maddilyn is born (give or take a few, right?). After I took this picture, Kimee wanted me to take a video of her. It was funny and a little sad. She explained to the camera how she made the poster, and that she is really good at counting. Then I asked her if she was excited for Maddilyn to come, thinking that she must be since she wanted to make this whole poster. Well, I should know better, because Kimee usually does the opposite of what I think she will or should do.
In response to my question, she says "No."
I ask, "Why not?"
"Because she will make a lot of messes."
Regardless of this response, we are all very excited to have another sister in our family, messes and all.
YEA!! It's coming so fast!! I think I'll wait about 3 weeks before the baby comes to do a countdown or else it will drive me CRAZY with all the talk about the baby coming from Cloey. It's already hard enough because she knows my mom and sister are coming and we are very excited about that. (a little more than the baby coming I think)
