The Sound of Music

For Christmas, our family got a collection of classic musicals. Dave is actually the one that wanted these since he is more of a movie watcher than me, but I think it's wonderful. Anyway, since Christmas, he has been suggesting, whenever the opportunity presents itself, that we go downstairs and watch The Sound of Music. Kimee always protests and wants to watch something else. Yesterday, I was trying to get my papers done, so they watched two movies. After the first was done, Dave stuck in The Sound of Music, without asking. The girls were just playing with toys and not really paying attention. Of course, when the singing started, we were all mesmerized. I couldn't even work on my homework because I wanted to watch. I didn't remember a lot of the movie. I know I have seen it before (I am more familiar with the stage version), but I must have slept through a lot. Kimee ended up really liking it (except the boring parts). And guess what? This morning she was begging Dad to go downstairs and watch The Sound of Music with her!
