On May 20, we had some fun observing the
annular eclipse (Ring of Fire). Luckily, our neighbor had a welder's mask and let us share it with them. I think the kids were more excited that they got to play with their neighbor friends on a Sunday than to see the eclipse. It turned out to be a pretty cool thing to see.

Dave was trying to take a picture with his phone. Didn't work :) He has the binoculars and paper for another trick- to see the shadow of the eclipse.
